About Me

Michele Grandinetti

Michele is a singer, vocal coach and voice producer. With a background as a recording and touring artist, he was the first Italian singer to have signed a record deal with a major label in Thailand under the name of Miky Del Re. He is currently best known for his music videos on YouTube.

At 17 years old, he left Italy to study at Berklee College of Music. While in Boston he met renowned producer Corrado Bacchelli, who proposed that he record an album in English at Murlyn Music in Stockholm.

In this same recording studio (where artists such as Celine Dion, Britney Spears, Ricky Martin recorded their music), Michele met Thai superstar Tata Young, who offered to present his first album, under the name Miky Del Re, in Thailand and became his patron.

In January 2005, Michele signed a record deal with Sony BMG Thailand and recorded the album “Clue”. Three singles came out of the album, one of which was recorded in the Thai language.

Miky became popular, promoting his work through concerts and TV shows, and also sang for the World Cup 2006 album entitled Voices from The FIFA World Cup, for the song “Believe in Your Dream” with The Sony BMG All-Stars (Thailand). However, he returned to Italy after the 2006 coup d’état in Thailand.

Upon his return, his manager Corrado Bacchelli passed away. At that point, Michele, without any significant point of reference, decided to suspend his musical career and enroll at IULM University in Milan, where he studied Public Relations and Advertising.

In early 2012, after earning his degree, on a whim, he auditioned for the sixth edition of the Italian edition of The X Factor.

The X Factor experience and his knowledge of PR motivated him to create and manage his own YouTube channel which now counts with over 100 music videos, millions of views and collaborations with very popular YouTubers like Costantino Carrara and Bely Basarte.

In 2015, he won a popular Italian talent radio show called CapiTalent on Radio Capital, competing with 4000 contestants.

In 2018, he sang in the “Channel Aid – We Are The World” rendition, produced by YouTube legend Kurt Hugo Schneider (this project was appreciated and shared on social media by Quincy Jones himself).

Michele’s songs are distributed worldwide on all the main online music stores. He’s also a professional voice teacher and coaches singers in preparation for live concerts and/or studio recordings.
